What’s happening?

Sit & Stitch is back! Do you like to knit? Crochet? Embroider? Something else? Bring your project -- whatever it is -- and join us on Thursday evenings. This is our time to enjoy a variety of fiber crafts. Your materials need not have been purchased from TWN. We meet from 5:00 until we get hungry. Bring your project and join the fun!

What’s new?

We’re excited to tell you about two fibers we just began carrying at TWN. Araucania Huasco Sock is a merino blend hand-painted by Peruvian Artisans. Don’t let the name fool you. Huasco would make beautiful socks, but the gorgeous tonal colorways would be perfect in other projects, such as shawls or sweaters (and we have patterns!).

Another new yarn for us is Ella Rae Heather Merino Superfine. Oh my! On first glance, you think the hank is green (or purple, or blue, etc), but when you look closely, you see there is more to each colorway that immediately meets the eye--- and it’s simply beautiful.

Stop by the shop to enjoy a squeeze and sniff of Araucania Huasco and Ella Rae Heathered Merino!

What’s on sale?

Our weekly sales are posted on Facebook. Here’s what will be on sale in October----

What’s the giveaway?

Our October giveaway will be uneek hand-dyed matching sock yarn. The set contains two balls of yarn, so you can create identical socks! This self-striping yarn can also be used in other projects, such as making matching fingerless mitts or gloves. Keep an eye on our Facebook page around October 7th to find out how to enter the giveaway.

What are you gifting?

Giving one of our Cubbies to someone is like giving a soft, squishy hug. Cubbies can be personalized with a name, initials, or newborn information. At TWN, we think they make a great gifts for any occasion. Stop by the shop or take a look on our website to find the just-right one.

What’s the UFO number for this month?

If you joined our UFO group back in February, and you’re still working away on those projects, good for you! You make us proud! Our October project is #5. November will be our final month to choose a project number. We plan to meet in December to share our FOs (or neglected WIPs).

What are you making?

Isn’t it fun to share your current project (or projects!) with friends? We love sharing with each other and with our customers. Elaine is making a baby quilt in different shades of purple. There will be lots of sweet dreams underneath that beautiful quilt!
