What’s happening?

It’s time for a KAL at TWN!

It’s been a crazy year with a busy season approaching, so let’s have a stress-free, low-key knit-a-long! Join us to knit the Casapinka Glamping Blanket. 

Here are the details---

*Go to Berroco's blog to find all the pattern information you’ll need.

*Choose the blanket size you’d like to knit. 

*Go to our website or come in the shop and purchase four colorways of beautiful Berroco Vintage Chunky in the amount you’ll need. (Can’t decide? Give us a call and we’ll be glad to help!)

*Get your needles and pattern. (Both can be purchased at TWN!)

***Yarn must be purchased at TWN to participate in the TWN KAL.

Let’s get started!

Come to the cast-on party Tuesday, November 10th, from 5:00 until 7:00 and receive a goody bag of treats! (No problem if you can’t attend. Remember? This is a no-stress KAL!)

We hope to cast-off by Tuesday, December 22nd, so we can use the blanket as a gift or curl up in ourselves on cold, winter evenings.

Our goal is for this to be an enjoyable knit.

Don’t stress if you don’t finish by the 22nd. This is not a race. Take your time and enjoy the journey.

What’s new?

We’re excited to tell you about a new yarn we just began carrying at TWN. Berroco Vintage Chunky is a machine washable blend of acrylic, wool, and nylon. Vintage comes in a wide range of colorways, and we plan to carry all of them at TWN. By reading our “what’s happening” section, you may have realized we couldn’t wait to begin using this beautiful yarn, which is why we’re having a Glamping Blanket KAL using Vintage. 

What’s on sale?

Our weekly sales are posted on Facebook. Here’s what will be on sale in November----

• Santa and Sleigh Sacks (They’re extra big for those Santa-sized gifts!)

• Tree skirts and Stockings

• Christmas buckets

• Winter cubbies (Snowmen and penguins and reindeer… oh, my!)

  

What’s the giveaway?

Our November giveaway is a ball of WYS Christmas collection sock yarn plus a sock pattern. The Candy Cane colorway will have you thinking of stripey candy and sugarplum fairies.  Keep an eye on our Facebook page the first week or two of November to find out how to enter the giveaway.

What are you gifting?

All of us at TWN enjoy reading, so we think book pillows are a great idea. Doesn’t everyone need a book pillow? We think so! We have book pillows for adults and children on our website and in the shop. Of course, we’ll be glad to do create a custom book pillow for you, but order it quickly if you want it for Christmas. December 25th will be here before we know it!

What’s the UFO number for this month?

If you joined our UFO group back in February, and you’re still working away on those projects, good for you! You make us proud! Our November project is #2. November is our final month to choose a project number from the 2020 list. We’ll meet in December to share our FOs (or neglected WIPs) and get blank lists so we can begin planning our 2021 UFO lists. Watch FB for the meeting date and time!

What are you making?

Isn’t it fun to share your current project (or projects!) with friends? We love sharing with each other and with our customers. Debbie has been creating fall decor for her home. The sweet pumpkins she crocheted will give her place a cozy look until the end of November.
