What’s new?

How about a 12-day yarn advent calendar from Wonderland?

Oh, yes!

There's yarn plus some extra surprises inside!

Countdown the days to Christmas with Wonderland Yarns!

If you’ve not yet seen our Jessica Long embroidery kits, you’re in for a treat.
Each kit includes everything you need – even needles!

Does it get any cuter than these felt notions bags from frabjous fibers?

We don’t think so!

What are you gifting?

If you’re giving large or hard to wrap gifts, we’ve got just the thing.

Santa sacks!

What’s the UFO number for this month?

Do you see them?

They're watching you!

All those unfinished projects----

Join us for UFO this year!

This is your chance to complete unfinished objects or create new 2023 project goals. To join our group, simply create a UFO list of twelve projects.

Your list of twelve projects can include unfinished projects, new projects, parts of a large project, or a combination of the three. Each month, we'll draw a number which will identify the project you'll work on over the coming month. On the third Thursday of each month, we'll meet to share our projects and choose a new number.

Just think! At the end of the year, you'll feel so good with all those FOs!

*First 2023 UFO meeting - Thursday, January 19th

What? UFO - Unfinished Objects

When? Third Thursday of each month 5:00 until 7:00

How? Work on the chosen number project from your list until the third Thursday

**For UFO projects, yarn does not have to be purchased from TWN.

What are you making?

Isn’t it fun to share your current project (or projects!) with friends?

We love sharing with each other and with our customers.

Sue is showing off the hat she made on a loom using Furreal yarn.

You go, girl!

You can see the wonder of Wonderland yarn and Mary Beth’s knitting skills in her Three Fates Cowl.

Keely’s Easy Scarf is proof that you can use sock yarn to make something other than socks.
It looks great!

Super Stitcher Sam is stitching away on this cute project.
We can’t wait to see it finished!

Sparkle Girl Debbie has been busy making Christmas presents.
Everybody’s going to want to be on her list!

Renaissance Woman Elaine used batik fabric to create this Wyoming Valley block.
Gorgeous!

As always, Boss Lady Gayla has her hands in a variety of projects.
The sweet Short Row Baby Jacket and We Three Gnomes wool applique are just two of many!

Needle Notes

Well, we’ve passed Thanksgiving and are on our way to Christmas!  You still have time for a few yarn projects for Christmas if you are so inclined.  (I know I am! lol) During December, we’re working on colorwork mittens.  We’ll begin the mitten pattern Wednesday, December 7th, if you’d like to cast on with us.

We have lots of new yarns coming to the store.  We’ve started carrying Madelinetosh in three different weights: Tosh Light sock, Farm Twist, and Triple Twist.   We’lll be getting the “Hue of the Moment” each month and a larger shipment of many different colorways in January.

Our wool corner has expanded, and we’ve received our first shipment of Sue Spargo mill-dyed wool, as well as, hand-dyed wools, lots of new patterns, and more wool scrap bags from Moda.  We also carry Jessica Long embroidery kits.  Need a project and don't have an embroidery stash?  This kit comes with everything you need. Maybe you have someone on your Christmas list that wants to try embroidery. A Jessica Long kit would be a great place to start!  We’re working on making some wool applique kits as well.

Stop in and check out all the new things at TWN.

You might even pick up a Christmas gift or two to mark off your list.

Hope to see ya soon—

Gayla
